Late December Oscar Predictions

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! The inter-nominations period, the most dramatic part of the race. The Critics Choice Awards, Golden Globes and SAG awards have all announced their nominees for the Best of 2017. Contenders we thought were locks are suddenly on the outside, while long forgotten performances make a sudden reappearance. Voting to determine who will be nominated for an Oscar begin in just a week. That means right now is when the nominees are likely to make a final strike with the hopes of scoring a nomination.
